Epitaph for a Scream Queen: Super Sexy Scream Siren Joins Epitaph: Bread and Salt

Chicago, Illinois - December 08, 2010 - Monique Dupree, the first black scream queen and easily the sexiest, has signed on to play Lilith in the comic-based action horror movie “Epitaph: Bread and Salt” ( http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1753788/fullcredits#cast ).

Nathyn Brendan Masters new movie “Epitaph: Bread and Salt” a prequel to the “Epitaph” and “Victor Locke: Demon Hunter” comic books has added a new face to the the film’s list of horror hotties. Scream queen Monique Dupree has signed on to play Lilith, the succubus and demoness of Jewish mythology.

The “Sisterhood of Lilith” is just one of the evil cults seeking to dominate the world in the Night Phoenix Press Universe and Chicago is one of the bigger battlegrounds. The Sisterhood plans to set things in motion for the demoness Lilith to come back to earth, but Lilith herself was never written into the current movie and had only been slated for appearances in dream sequences in the upcoming “Victor Locke: Demon Hunter” and “Night Phoenix” comics.

“It’s crazy because Lilth isn’t an ordinary woman and ordinary women certainly don’t have the kind of body Lilith has, but Monique does. It’s so weird.” says Masters. Dupree is the biggest name on the project which boast a bevy Chicago based screaming beauties including “Afraid of Sunrise” actress and "Comic Book Divas" model Kelsey Zukowski, “Trick or Eat’s” Heather Dorff and Leena Kurishingal of “Fast Zombies with Guns” and “The Long December” fame.

Masters considered Dupree for the character of Atraria, a.k.a Nightevil, the role that went to actress Anita Nicole Brown. “We spoke early on about the film, but just in passing. I knew she had the body for the Lilith, but the character hadn’t been written into the script. The only role she could play was Nightevil, but the logistics just didn’t work for a project at this budget and honestly she really would’ve been overkill for it, so I never her made the offer as there really was no place for her save for a bit part or featured extra, but now everything has fallen into place.”

A scene from a future comic book, where Lilith appears to Victor in a dream and tries to seduce and kill him, will be rewritten as a sequence for the film. "Epitaph: Bread and Salt" is currently shooting in Chicago's Edgewater and Old Town Neighborhoods. The Dupree scene is currently slated to shoot early next 2011.

Currently Master’s film has been accepted to crowd funding site Kickstarter http://kck.st/clghfq which Master’s plans to use the funds for up keep of the post-production pipelines.

Greetings & Blessings

Just dropping by to show some luv.

Things have been progressing in every area of my existence, so I've been really busy as of late.

I JUST did a photoshoot for Urban Ink magazine. I had a great time shooting with photographer AzuluzA.

I also did a budiour shoot with Vegas Alien. You can find one of my photos right on the front page of his photography site.

One of the films I was in, Step Up 3-D is now out. I had a small part, but I was doing my dance thang, so if that's your cup of tea (or glass of mimosa) do go and check it out.

I've also completed two other films and was just announced for another one I'll be doing next year called "Girl Scout Cookies".

My band, Negro Childe is also taking off as well. We're number two on the reverbnation charts and we have 4 bookings in the works, so stay tuned for tour dates.

Such a busy busy few months. Busy is good.

“Gata” is spanish for cat. I use it as a descriptive for my cat totem. The eternal spirit of the cat is worshipped by some ancient cultures, and seen as the ambassadors to the after life. Like the egyptian Goddess Bast or Sekhmet for example, I’m an aspect of that energy. Its present in many. It is, was and always will be Eartha Kitt, Julie Newmar, Josephine Baker, Betty Page….Monique Dupree…

I am teaming up with Brenna Lee Roth and Troma Entertainment to put out a web series of workout videos. Since we are still looking for sponsors, here is a little bit about the idea, so you can see what we are doing. Please pass this email on to anyone you think may be interested in getting their foot in the door.

In short, it will be 10 ten minute long videos. Each video Monique will teach me a different workout move. She does mostly strip tease, pole, and chair dancing moves. I know NONE of these, so you can see how it will be interesting. All of the videos will be available on DVD, for sale on Troma's website via download.

Here is where you can help, we need about $1500 to cover more production costs. (Beer, green slime, new mop for Toxie, etc) We have $700 already! There are a few different options for what you can do:
1. Monique or myself will wear your shirt in all 10 videos for $200
2. Put your own 30 second to 1 minute long trailer at the beginning of all 10 videos for $300
3.Put your logo, name or your mom's name on the green screen behind us. This will appear in every video for $400
4. Special Thanks in the end credits of every video PLUS credit on IMDB as Producer for $100
5. Thanks credits at the end $50

So, as you can see we are not asking for much. I will also mention that we are doing this film as an "educational documentary" through the non-profit company "Growing Our Future Today".
