Horror Society Presents.... B-Movie Madness

Horror Society Presents.... B-Movie Madness

We are back with a new Indie Film Festival. This time it’s… B-Movie
Madness!!

Our first festival was to shock and awe Chicago with some of the best
underground, extreme horror you can imagine. Well I think we shocked a
few people, but this time its a bit different. On Saturday, January
17th at the Portage Theater we will be showcasing some of the best
Indie B-Movies and Horror Comedies around. Our lineup includes….

Better Off Undead
The Driller Killer
The Stalking Hand
It’s My Party, and I’ll Die If I Want To

Four of the best and most original horror comedies. Each with a little
special something… The feature film, It’s My Party and I’ll Die If I
Want To, will feature a “Choose your own adventure” version of the
film in which you the audience will be able to participate and choose
how you want the movie to play. Not just the ending, but the whole
movie. Its truly an original idea for a horror movie, and hell any
movie for that matter. We will be having giveaways and trailers
throughout the festival!

Ticket are only $15 at the door ($12 online…www.horrorsociety.com/chicago)

Check out the synopsis for each movie below…

------------------------------------------------

Better Off Undead

Marcus, Chris and Evan find themselves stuck in any normal day, when
without warning, zombies begin to infest the city. Not knowing exactly
what to do, the three attempt to seek shelter at Marcus’ house, but
first they have to get there. Facing the undead, Marcus, Chris and
Evan try to survive the zombies and each other.

Written and directed by John Pata, and starring Drew Schuldt, Dale
DeVries and Jordan Brown, BETTER OFF UNDEAD was filmed in Oshkosh, WI
and features music by The Lemurs, Lead Me Not, Johnny and the Phux,
and The Suicide Machines.

------------------------------------------------

The Driller Killer

An artist slowly loses his mind as he and his two female friends
scrape to pay the bills. The punk band downstairs increasingly
agitates him, his art dealer is demanding that he complete his big
canvas painting as promised, and he gets into fights with his
girlfriends. When the dealer laughs at his canvas he snaps, and begins
taking it out on the people responsible for his pain and random
transients in the manner suggested by the title.

------------------------------------------------

The Stalking Hand

When a young man get fresh with his date her father, a preacher, goes
insane and severs the young man’s hand with a chainsaw. The sever
limb, understandably bitter about the whole affair, spend eternity
stalking and killing every living human it encounters.

It’s My Party, and I’ll Die If I Want To

Seventy years ago, Jacob Burkitt murdered and dismembered his enjoy
family and cast a dark shadow over the small town of Monessen,
Pennsylvania. Now Sara’s friends have decided to make her 18th
birthday a night to remember by throwing her a surprise party in the
reputedly haunted Burkitt Manor. As her friends set up the party, the
